Career Spotlight - Mia

Hi! My name is Mia, and I joined the team in Richmond Hill in February 2023, working predominantly on the Front Desk. Recently however I moved into the Gamekeeper role which I am loving!

Stepping into the role of a Gamekeeper has been both exciting and rewarding. It’s not just about managing the arcade—it’s about ensuring the space remains fun, engaging, and leaves every visitor with a smile. The role is a dynamic blend of hands-on problem-solving and creativity, requiring attention to detail to maintain the games and redemption area in top condition. Seeing guests enjoy the games and light up with excitement as they win prizes makes all the effort worthwhile.  Beyond that, helping fellow arcade team by creating systems and improving organization has made operations smoother for the entire team.

Every day brings new challenges and opportunities, making this role truly fulfilling and unique. One of the highlights of being a gamekeeper is organizing and displaying all the prizes! It’s so rewarding to create an eye-catching setup that appeals to every guest!

My advice to any new team joining the business is just to be yourself and our job is to help our guests have fun.
